Dr. Yao has over 20 years of professional experience in engineering and management in United States, Southeast Asia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in State of California, USA and a certified Associate Value Specialist with SAVE International. He was the Chief Engineer of Munich Reinsurance Company Beijing Branch in charge of property/engineering underwriting and risk engineering.
Dr. Yao has provided risk management service to both government agencies and private sectors in regard to engineering and operation of power generation (nuclear, green, and thermal), metros and rails, oil/gas and petrochemical/chemical production, gas transmission and liquefaction, metal production, high-tech/chip manufacture and high-rise buildings.
He has also delivered speeches in numerous international/national conferences and training sessions.
