Recent years have made us more aware of the impact our surroundings have on our mental and physical health: we are expecting more of our homes, workplaces, institutions, and public spaces. The WELL Standard is being readily adopted by architects and designers as they create places that provide clean air, natural light, access to nature, opportunities for exercise and many other benefits.

While these features improve any space, there is opportunity to push the envelope through experiential graphic design (EGD), moving towards a more customized approach true to each individual organization, especially as it relates to wayfinding, place branding and graphic artworks.

In this webinar, Cristina Kelly of SEGD Vancouver will explain how wellness strategies can go beyond a 'one size fits all' approach – how they can be applied meaningfully, first by creating a set of wellness goals specific to a particular organization, then applying these goals in a way that ties brand values and vision to wellness to create a truly unique space.

She will explain how to apply principles of brand strategy development to principles of WELL, to help organizations think critically about who they are, what they stand for, and how the built environment, through EGD, can become a celebration of brand identity, locality and artistry while fostering spatial familiarity. Attendees will leave this webinar with a further understanding of how EGD interacts with other disciplines features such as architecture, lighting and ergonomics to create holistically healthy spaces for people.
