Event Details
A serger is a sewing machine used for creating clean, finished seams to prevent material from fraying at the end. Learning to use a serger is such an important step to growing as a seamstr(ess) and creating perfectly clean finished and tailored garments. Generator has a serger machine that we want to teach you how to use! In this skill-based course students will learn how to thread and operate a four cone serger by practicing a number of techniques under the guidance of a skilled sewer.
A coverstitch is an industrial sewing machine used for professional looking detail stitches, beautiful
finishes to your quilting projects, and clean hems to your sewing projects. Learning to use a coverstitch
machine will add to your repertoir as a seamstress and open up possibilities for your projects to look
professional, detailed, and clean.
Participants are more than welcome to bring their own machines, if they have them.
