Join us at Generator for an introductory sewing workshop where participants will learn to make two different stylish and functional wallets using technical fabrics from start to finish!

No sewing experience is required.

During this hands-on class our instructors will guide you through the entire process. Participants will gain confidence using a sewing machine, working with technical fabrics & zippers, and adding finishing touches. By the end everyone will leave with two unique handmade wallets and the skills to continue their sewing journey.

We have multiple wallet designs to choose from. These include a basic card slip, two different bifold wallets with snap closures, a small zip wallet, and a larger zip wallet that should fit most phones. The plan is for everyone to sew two wallets, one with a zip, and one without.

All materials and tools will be provided. Just bring your creativity!

Successful completion of this workshop includes certification in Generator's sewing studio. This means that if you'd like to continue your sewing journey after the workshop you can skip our standard sewing training, and jump right in!

This is the perfect introductory class for the outdoor enthusiast interested in learning more about working with technical fabrics and making their own bags and equipment for bikepacking, backpacking, or other adventures.
