In celebration of Black History Month, NABCRMP is proud to host "Shades of Excellence: Black Professionals Shaping the GRC Ecosystem," a session dedicated to exploring the multifaceted experiences of Black professionals in the fields of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC). This session brings together a diverse panel of speakers, from students to seasoned consultants and risk managers to compliance officers and legal advisors, each offering a unique perspective on navigating the GRC landscape as a Black professional.


Through candid discussions, the panelists will share their journeys, highlighting the challenges they've faced, the barriers they've broken, and the strategies they've employed to excel in their respective fields. This session aims to illuminate the critical role that diversity plays in enriching the GRC profession, fostering innovation, and driving ethical business practices.


Attendees will gain insights into the importance of mentorship, the power of representation, and the ongoing efforts to create more inclusive and equitable workplaces within the GRC ecosystem. "Shades of Excellence" is not just a celebration of achievements but also a call to action, encouraging organizations and individuals alike to support and amplify the voices of Black professionals in GRC.
