NOTICE OF SILA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025
The Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting in 2025 as follows:
Date: 28th March 2025, Friday
Time: 6.00pm โ 9.00pm (GMT + 8 - Singapore Time)
*Registration begins at 6.00pm. AGM would be called to order at 6.30pm.
Venue: Theatrette @ Trade Association Hub (Jurong Town Hall)
Address: 9 Jurong Town Hall Road, Singapore 609431
All members are invited to attend this meeting and we will provide detailed instructions in a separate email, once you have registered for the event.
Those who are unable to attend may appoint a proxy to attend and are to submit the proxy form by 3rd March 2025, 5:00PM via email to our Secretariat.
The following thirteen (13) positions were opened for election:
- One (1) position for President*
- One (1) position for Honorary Secretary*
- One (1) position for Honorary Treasurer*
- Six (6) positions for Council Members*
- Two (2) positions of Ordinary Council Members#
- Two (2) positions of Honorary Auditors*
Nominations Eligibility:
* Fellow, Full, & Graduate members may be nominated
# Fellow, Full, Graduate, & Affiliate members may be nominated
The 2025 AGM process:
- Nominations for President, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Secretary, Council Members, and Honorary Auditors posts are to be submitted latest by 3rd March 2025.
- E-Townhall meeting on 21st March 2025: Introduction of all nominees and members Q&A (2 CPD points)
- Commencement of Voting โ eligible members can vote online between 21st March 2025 to 26th March 2025
- AGM reporting by President, Honorary Treasurer, Pillar Heads, and Announcement of Election results on 28th March 2025 (4 CPD points)
