Students will design, texture, pierce, file, form, and finish a pair of silver studs or dangle earrings. If time allows, several pairs of earrings can be created depending on the complexity of the design. At the end of this class, students will be more comfortable with designing, silver soldering, and using the jeweler's saw.
No prior experience necessary.

Jolynn is an artist and educator from Ohio. She received her BFA in Jewelry Metal and Enameling from Kent State University. After working as a Bench Jeweler in New York City, she pursued an MFA in Metal from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she was an Instructor of Record. Jolynn was a 2019 2020 Artist-in-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Most recently, she was a faculty member at Montgomery University and Towson University, as well as an instructor at the Baltimore Jewelry Center.
