The Singapore Children's Book Festival spotlights and celebrates the readers, creators, and publishers of local children's literature. It features Singapore's first book illustration prize, the Illustrator of the Year.
The inaugural event will take place on 21 to 23 June 2024, at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, featuring an illustrators' gallery, children's activities, talks and storytelling by creators and publishers, and a bazaar.
The Illustrator of the Year Prize
Singapore's first Illustrator of the Year Prize is now open for submissions from illustrators who have published a work of children's literature in Singapore from 2022-2023. Find out more here.
