Small Business Basics

Join us for this online workshop where you will gain an understanding of the fundamentals to help you better serve the businesses on your corridor!

Participants will:

• Learn key business terminology and essential business practices for healthy corridor businesses;
• Review examples of the most common business financial statements (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement) and the information that each includes; and
• Explore the broader context of how small businesses operate in Philadelphia, with an emphasis on access to various types of capital and business/personal credit.
