Our one day interactive and dynamic workshop is designed to assist you and your organisation to have a deeper understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi).


Some of the topics covered include; the context in which Te Tiriti o Waitangi was created, global influences at the time of signing and an analysis of the differences between the te reo Māori and English texts.


We offer a robust discussion and review on how the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi has evolved and the effects in today's multicultural society. We aim to elevate your understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to enable informed discussions that empower courageous conversation.

    Ngāti Whātua ki Tāmaki, Waiohua, Tahitian, Cook Island and Pākehā.

    Moana has over 20 years experience with programme design, development and delivery. Moana has worked with both rangatahi & pakeke and delivered many & varied programmes.

    Developing the MWDi HineBoss Business Programme, Moana delivered the programme to over 1000 wāhine Māori from 2016 to 2020 and has trained successive facilitators who continue to delivery the programme today.

    Moana is a business coach and mentor.

    A champion of te Waitematā, Moana, together with her twin Donna, and father, Tamaiti helped spearhead the restoration of mauri to Ōkahu Bay and was instrumental in getting the mooring buoys removed.

    Moana is a co-founder and the President of Ōrākei Water Sports Inc. Her 10 years at the Hauraki Gulf Forum led to the transformation to a co-chair model.

    Moana holds a number of board and consultancy positions and actively supports marine restoration.

    In 2021 she received the Member of NZ Order of Merit for Conservation and Maori.
