An Award- Winning Public health specialist and a Rockefeller fellow on social innovation with over 18 years’ experience in the health sector. She has a wide experience and in-depth knowledge of the public and private sectors in Africa and other emerging markets. Dr. Njeri is currently working in the Office of the President, Kenya, Presidents’ Delivery Unit as a Senior Director, she also serves on the Global Fund Technical Review panel as resilient and sustainable health systems expert and previously worked for the World Bank Group as a Senior Health Specialist, on Health Programs in the African Region, as programme manager at AMREF Health Africa and at Ministry of Health in various capacities up to National level. She chairs the board of Nairobi Waldorf School Trust, she is a non-executive director of the Center for International Health and Biosecurity-Kenya, she is a Trustee and Member of the Board of New Faces New Voices Kenya and Board advisor to Savannah Informatics. She holds a medical degree from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda and a postgraduate diploma and Masters of Science in Public health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine – University of London. She is a mother of three, she loves adventure travel, gardening, cooking, reading and she is a self- taught sommelier.
Gordon is an experienced health services executive and leader with over 20 years’ experience as a top executive in the health care industry in Kenya and the region. He combines his global professional and personal background to the health sector and offers leadership in the delivery of appropriate programs and services. Gordon has led interventions focused on improving the effectiveness of the health sector.
Millicent Olulo is the Regional Director for Advocacy and Partnership at PharmAccess Foundation where she leads advocacy and partnership strategy with donors/partner organizations within the East Africa region.
Previously she served as County Director of PharmAccess Kenya from 2015 until July 2018 leading the in-country initiatives standards for quality improvement (SafeCare), loans for healthcare providers (Medical Credit Fund), healthcare financing (M-TIBA) and advocacy.
Millicent has over twenty years of work experience in senior leadership and management position as well as in research, implementing health insurance, monitoring and evaluation and service delivery. She chairs the health regulations, quality and standards committee at the Kenya HealthCare Federation.
A visionary entrepreneur and an industry captain, Dr. Amit N. Thakker, has been a groundbreaking
pioneer in the integration of private sector within the healthcare system in Africa. Dr Thakker
actively supports governments, corporates, health organizations and development partners to
foster effective public private partnership initiatives towards improved health outcomes.
He is the executive chairman of Africa Health Business, president of Africa Healthcare
Federation, and the immediate past chairman of Kenya Healthcare Federation and has served as
a director at LumiraDx, Seven Seas Technology, AMREF Flying Doctors. Action Aid and Ghanima
Limited.
As an active member of several institutions including international business group YPO Gold
(Nairobi Chapter), Dr. Thakker also chairs the University of Nairobi Alumni Medical Chapter and
serves as an advisor to Asia Africa Investing & Consulting Ltd, Coalition for Blood in Africa (CoBA)
and Ministry of Health, Kenya.
Dr. Thakker founded Avenue Healthcare, a Kenyan based integrated private health service
provider in 1995 which lead him to receive the “Best Male Entrepreneur of the Year” award by
Rotary International in 1999. He also won the “Best CEO ” award by Titans Global in the Business
and Professional services category in 2017 and proudly received the Chairman’s Award for Kenya
Medical Association in 2004.

She has participated in the development of key national and international policies and guidelines across many African countries. She has served as organization representative at national and international forums, conferences, technical working groups, and advisory boards.
