The Society of Anesthesiologists of Tanzania (SATA) will be hosting its 8th National Scientific Conference from the 9th-11th May 2024 which will take place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam.

The opening Ceremony of this important conference will take place on the 9th May, 2024 and is expected to attract about 500 delegates from different health specialties such as Anesthesia and critical care, surgery and Nursing providers as well as residents and undergraduate trainees in these fields from Tanzania. The theme for this year's conference is "Strengthening Essential Perioperative Care as a Component of Universal Health Coverage".
