Chief Assistant Prosecutor Ron McCormick is a dedicated law enforcement professional. Chief McCormick is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and received his Juris Doctorate and M.B.A. from Rutgers School of Law. He has been admitted to the practice of law in the State of New Jersey and New York and was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Sebastian Gaeta, Jr.
Chief McCormick has served almost twenty years as an Assistant Prosecutor and is now Chief of the Narcotics Task Force for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. At the Prosecutor’s Office he has served in the Appellate, Domestic Violence, Juvenile, Grand Jury, Trial and Narcotics sections of the Office. He has prosecuted domestic violence, robbery, sexual assault, child abuse, and homicide crimes, among others. Chief McCormick has been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney.
