The DigiPRO Mindset is a half-day hands-on workshop for people who want to learn how to become Digital Professionals, or simply DigiPRO. Participants will not only learn how to get started as a DigiPRO using their current skill sets but also learn where and how to get clients, set rate cards, get paid, and learn new, specific skills.
Who is it for: Corporate and freelance professionals, virtual assistants, work-at-home and stay-at-home parents who want to learn new skills, 9-to-5 employees who want to become online entrepreneurs, business and life coaches, business veterans who want to update their digital skill sets, people (particularly women) in transition who want to work from home.
CLASSES:
CLASS #1: Becoming A Digital Professional (3 Hours)
Trainer/Speaker: Ava Banzuela Esplanada
A complete start-up guide for aspiring digital professionals.
CLASS #2: DigiPRO Mind Setting + Culture (2 Hours)
Trainer/Speaker: Bonnie Factor
Remote work is the new corporate. This class talks about the "entrepreneurial" mindset of a DigiPRO and what to expect when you join the remote work culture.
CLASS #3: DigiPRO Business Communications (1 Hour)
Trainer/Speaker: Kat Lopez / Paula Abiog
Walk the walk. Talk the talk. This class talks about the dos and dont's when it comes to communications between you and your clients, peers, colleagues, and teammates.
Reminders:
1. It's going to be a hands-on workshop. Notepads will be provided but you are free to please bring your own laptop.
2. Registration starts at 12:00 NN.
3. The program officially starts at 1:00 P.M.
4. Snacks and drinks will be served.
5. E-certificates will be issued to the participants two days after the event.
TRAINERS
Ava Banzuela Esplanada
Ava is a 26-year-old mother of 4 and a full-time Digital Professional. She began her digital journey in 2011 as a part-timer and in 2013, she accepted a full-time offer while working in Accenture. In 2017, Ava decided to take the big transition in her career. She left the BPO industry and focused more on developing herself and growing her career as a self-employed online professional. She owns and operates AVAS Virtual Assistance wherein she teaches newbie and advanced virtual assistants. She is the Process Manager of The After Six Club and the Founding Trainer of Project VAST.
Bonnie Factor
Bonnie Factor is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer in cross-border fulfillment eCommerce start-up, eCFulfill Inc.
Kat Hernandez
Kat discovered her passion for writing when she was 10 years old. Kat worked at a publishing company as a magazine writer and editor, then worked in corporate communications and public relations after that. Now, she is the current chief content officer of All Things Hair Philippines, a hair and beauty website sponsored by Unilever. She is the author of The Stranger I Met, written under the mentorship of Kath Eustaquio-Derla through PaperKat Books.
Paula Bianca Abiog
Paula is a communications professional with over 10 years of experience in feature writing, corporate communications and public relations, and content creation under her belt. Paula worked as a magazine writer, a public relations officer, and a corporate communications officer. Currently, she works as a freelance editor and a senior analyst specializing in content for a multinational IT company.
