Shari Mukherjee

a.k.a. Spiced Up Mom Blog writer, Cooking/baking teacher, MasterChef Season 10 Top 6 Contestant

Shari Mukherjee is a self-taught home-chef, baker, and food blogger with a passion for both savory and sweet recipe development. She enjoys tinkering with her camera and learning to photograph the food she creates as well as working as a freelance food photographer/recipe developer for brands/clients and her blog, Spiced Up Mom. Shari went from "kitchen zero" and not knowing anything about cooking to competing on FOX's hit show: MasterChef. She has had the privilege of cooking for and learning from some incredible, world-renowned chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Grant Achatz, Iron Chef Morimoto, Alton Brown, Andrew Zimmern, and others--even earning a trip to London to cook in Chef Ramsay's 3 Michelin Star restaurant: Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. She hopes her story can inspire others—no matter where they're starting—to get into the kitchen and start learning.

Tiffany Alexandria

ChooChoo-ca-Chew

Tiffany says she would much rather be in what she calls "hole-in-the-wall places" than fancy restaurants. She loves local and genuine, something she traces to her Asian heritage. Through her business, CHOOCHOO-ca-CHEW, she's giving people insight into what her native Taiwanese cuisine and culture are all about.

One of the things she delights and specializes in is re-creating authentic recipes with ingredients from local farmers. In fact, she devotes much of her time to promoting the southeast Minnesota region. Tiffany is all about local and seasonal ingredients, and making food from scratch. She's also a whizz with food photography shares her talent and enthusiasm through her social media channels @choochoocachew.

People's Food Co-op

Our History – Cooperation Among Cooperatives

The People's Food Co-op we know now was created by several thousand courageous co-op members in Rochester, MN, and La Crosse, WI. In 2011 these people took a great risk and voted to merge their two co-ops into one large organization to serve a dynamic, educated, growing community. On January 2, 2012, the consolidation became official, and the stage was set for development of a new Rochester store. In the first year our combined sales exceeded $16 million. The next was a year of integration and preparation for relocation and expansion of the Rochester facility. When "new store" operations grew Rochester sales by 90% in year one, it became clear that together, our stores were serving the community's needs very well.

PFC is now powered by 11,600 owners and has sales approaching $22 million. Our stores are respected as true assets in downtown La Crosse and Rochester. PFC is widely recognized as a thriving business bringing people together to build a more sustainable community.
