Andrew Masigan is a dynamic entrepreneur and columnist with a robust portfolio of achievements in various sectors. As the founder and CEO of Advent Manila Hospitality Group, Inc., he has conceptualized and launched over a hundred restaurants, including notable brands like XO46 Heritage Bistro and Arroz Ecija, currently overseeing 31 establishments. His insightful economic and political columns for Business World and The Philippine Star, respectively, are widely referenced by industry leaders and policymakers.
Beyond hospitality and journalism, Andrew co-owns XPAY Worldwide Corporation, a fintech solutions firm, and represents Wastefuel of America in the Philippines. He holds directorial roles in organizations such as Trimec Trading Corporation, and Morningtide Capital Partners.
He is an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization since 1996 and La Camara, where he also served on the board. Andrew has significantly contributed to the business community, leveraging his extensive background in economics and finance, honed through his education at LaSalle Greenhills, De LaSalle University, and the University of Asia & the Pacific.
He was also recently appointed Research Fellow for Asia Pacific for Washington DC think tank, Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI)
