Join the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR) on September 25 for an insightful discussion with Deputy Assistant Administrator Mileydi Guilarte from USAID's Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Three years ago, the United States launched the U.S. Strategy to Address the Root Causes of Irregular Migration in Central America. This initiative aims to promote economic growth, improve governance, and enhance security, enabling more Guatemalans, Hondurans, and Salvadorans to build secure and prosperous lives at home. As we mark the third anniversary of this strategy's implementation, this is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, lessons learned, and the challenges that lie ahead.

Deputy Assistant Administrator Mileydi Guilarte will delve into the intricacies of this strategy, providing an in-depth analysis of its impact and future priorities. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into one of the most pressing issues facing the region today.

A cash bar will be available.
