This year, we are teaming up with the Million Trees Foundation for a Tree Planting project.

Million Trees Foundation is dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of the seven critical watersheds namely: Angat, Ipo, Kaliwa, La Mesa, Laguna Lake, Umiray, and Upper Marikina including Manila Bay, through regular tree-planting and environmental conservation projects. Its key aim is to ensure the Annual Million Trees Challenge (AMTC) is sustained for its five-year duration and beyond.

Our project involves planting 200 Philippine native trees (narra, bignay, and Palawan Cherry Blossoms) at the La Mesa Dam Watershed, on July 20, Saturday. The activity starts at 7:00 am.

We are aiming for at least 100 participants from TMAP, hopefully with TMAP members bringing along their families and friends to the event.

Please note there is ample parking space available in the area for your convenience.

In preparation for the event, please bring gardening gloves, hats, arm sleeves, off lotion and bottled water and be prepared to do a little bit of walking to the planting site.
