Event Details World renowned Professor Emeritus in Forensic Physics, Professor Kwasnoski , will teach you the scientific methods, principles, terminology and tactics of effective collision reconstruction, in terms jurors will understand and gravitate towards in deliberation. Knowing is half the battle. Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor Nathan Boob will also provide legal updates and fatality prosecution strategy. Bolster your investigations and prosecutions of vehicular homicide/collision cases to provide justice for victims and families with tried-and-true forensic evidence.
This course is approved for 12 substantive CLE credits and will be approved for Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission credits as well.
Course Details Accommodations: A block of rooms is reserved at the Sheraton Station Square. The first 25 registrants will have free lodging included with the course cost. Reservation will be made by PDAI. Simply check which nights you want when registering. Please do not contact the hotel directly. Additional lodging available for $138 a night plus state and local taxes. Class size is limited.

Nathan Boob TSRP at Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association Nate Boob is here to help you save lives. As the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor for the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Office, he provides investigative and prosecutorial assistance, research, and education in traffic-related criminal matters. Nate brings to the office over 20 years of trial experience, handling the gambit of criminal prosecutions from summary offenses to homicides in over 25 counties across the Commonwealth. Nate began his career in the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office while attending the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. After working in the drug prosecutions section both as a certified legal intern and as a Deputy District Attorney, he moved to the Centre County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted various cases including DUI, vehicular homicide, murder, all serious felonies, and high-profile cases from investigation through appeal. After 12 years, he returned to Cumberland County where he became Chief of Trials. Nate completed two appointments as a Special Prosecutor for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, prosecuting a wide variety of crimes across the Commonwealth. He most recently served as a Chief Deputy District Attorney in Franklin County. During his time as a prosecutor, Nate conducted a multitude of training for the Pennsylvania State Police, local police departments, and Pennsylvania State University. He is a career prosecutor, focused on helping you achieve justice.
John Kwasnoski Professor Emeritus of Forensic Physics at Western New England University
John Kwasnoski Professor Emeritus of Forensic Physics at Western New England University John B. Kwasnoski is Professor Emeritus of Forensic Physics at Western New England University, Springfield, MA, after thirty-one years on the faculty. He is a certified police trainer in more than twenty states, and has instructed prosecutors, police, and civil attorneys on more than 250 occasions across the U.S. He is the crash reconstructionist on the “Lethal Weapon - DWI Homicide” team formed by the National Traffic Law Center to teach prosecutors how to utilize expert witness testimony and cross examine adverse expert witnesses. Prof. Kwasnoski has reconstructed more than 1,200 crashes, including multiple and single vehicle, pedestrian, motorcycle, and train crashes, and has given sworn testimony on more than 200 occasions; he has been training the NYPD collision reconstruction unit since 2001; and continues to serve as a consultant to prosecutors nationwide on MV homicide cases. He has worked for more than twenty major insurers as a consultant/expert witness, and has conducted training for claims adjusters and special investigators for a number of insurance companies. Prof. Kwasnoski is the author and co-author of several books, has published more than 60 journal and newsletter articles on collision reconstruction, and maintains an active speaking schedule nationwide.
