The Trans 101 Workshop is a comprehensive and enlightening course designed to educate participants about the experiences and challenges faced by transgender individuals. This workshop aims to create a supportive environment for learning, fostering empathy, and promoting inclusivity. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of transgender identities, terminology, and the best practices for creating transgender-affirming spaces.

One of the goals of the workshop is to give the necessary training for possible trainers and facilitators of Trans 101 of the PFIP member firms. This will provide these future trainers the guidance on how to conduct their own SOGIE 101 sessions with various groups of people to allow them to smoothly introduce the concepts of SOGIESC to these audiences.
