A recent tax regulation of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requires the submission of Information Return on Related Party Transactions as an attachment to the Annual Income Tax Return. The new requirement is intended to ensure that related party transactions are properly disclosed and conducted at arm's length, as well as to improve the BIR's transfer pricing risk assessment and audit. This session will provide discussion on the salient provisions of the regulation and how concerned taxpayers can comply with the new requirement.
