    Lauren Antifeau

Provincial Director of Redevelopment at BC Housing

Lauren’s desire to explore creative non-market housing solutions has informed her roles both in the private and public land development sector. Lauren oversees BC Housing’s Provincial Redevelopment portfolio within BC Housing’s Development and Asset Strategies branch. By leveraging over 80 acres of underutilized provincially-owned land across the province, Lauren and her team are intensifying ~1,500 units of aging housing stock into close to 10,000 units of new non-market and near-market rental housing. Her master-planning design and pre-construction work at BC Housing is informed by her years in the private sector; Lauren’s 7+ years spent at Townline Developments included development coordination, management, and direction roles overseeing complex multi-family projects from due diligence design work through to construction completion.

Lauren holds an Executive MBA from the London School of Business and Finance and a BA in Urban Geography from UVic. She serves as a Regional Committee Director to the UDI Capital Region Board and is the former Chair of the UDI Capital Region U40 Committee. Lauren serves on BC Housing’s Offsite Construction Research, Sustainability & Resilience, and Tenant Relocation Committees.
