Chris Hampden is an experienced business leader with over 15 years of practical industry experience in procurement, supply chain management, strategy and finance across the Aerospace, Marine and Energy sectors.
These experiences have been gained whilst spending much of his career living and working in Asia Pacific such as Vietnam, Japan and Singapore.
His expertise covers the full spectrum of direct procurement for industrial products, encompassing raw materials, castings, machining, fabrications, and complete assemblies.
Chris thrives on crafting strategies to tackle procurement challenges. His achievements encompass overhauling global supply chains via strategic sourcing in the Asia Pacific and emerging markets, resulting in substantial cost savings and streamlined supply chains. He's adept at instituting comprehensive sustainability strategies for procurement, establishing supplier engagement frameworks to boost collaboration and address strategic issues with key partners, and driving operational enhancements through supplier management in Japan and Taiwan.
Academically, Chris holds a First-Class degree in Business Studies and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
