Shobana Maikoo is the Head of TransUnion's Global Capability Centre in Africa, where she is responsible for aligning the centre’s strategy and priorities to those of TransUnion, while enabling the company’s global operating model. She is also responsible for leading and overseeing its current workforce of 800+ employees to support the enhancement and creation of new capabilities, drive new product and service offerings to the market and enable value optimisation for the enterprise.
Shobana has more than 20 years of experience in operations management across the recruitment and staffing industries, and previously held senior management positions at Altron People Solutions and Quest Staffing Solutions. She holds a postgraduate diploma in business management from the Henley Business School, a senior management development programme from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, and is currently pursuing an MBA.
