Various Cov-19 vaccines have been approved and introduced around the globe, with more to come, and with it comes the hope that the Pandemic will eventually fade. In Hong Kong the mass vaccination programme started on 26 February, but less than 40% of Hongkongers are willing to take the jab according to a survey conducted by CUHK.

We have invited Prof. Seto, Specialist in Clinical Microbiology & Infection at Gleneagles Hospital and Co-Director at WHO Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Control in Hong Kong among others, to discuss all you should know about the various vaccine profiles. He will share the latest information about the vaccine and its roll out.

Speaker added: Ms. Yvonne Ho, from IATA will inform you on the latest developments around the IATA Travel Pass. Prior to joining IATA, Yvonne started her career in aviation as a Management Trainee in Dragonair. With over close to thirty years of experience in the airline industry, Yvonne's main responsibility is to advocate for a safe, secure, efficient and sustainable air transport industry. She works with government and industry stakeholders in Hong Kong and Macau to ambassador IATA's interest.

Key takeaways:

  • the latest development of the COVID-19 situation
  • the different types of vaccines currently on the market & how they work differently
  • misunderstanding or misconception about the vaccines
  • vaccination planning Hong Kong
  • impact for returning to office and on travelling

Regarding the last point, we are working on adding one additional speaker from a well known organization to share insights on when we can expect to be in the air again. We hope to share good news about that soon.

At the end of the session, you will have an opportunity to ask our guest speaker(s) questions.

We hope you can join us for this important session (members FREE / non-members HKD 80).
