    Senior Partner and Senior Managing Director of Global Wealth Management | Tigress Financial Partners

    Lily has over 35 years of finance and Wall Street Experience. As a Senior Partner at Tigress Financial Partners (TFP), she manages TFP’s Global Wealth Management business, servicing international high net worth clients. Prior to joining TFP, Lily serviced international institutional and high net worth clients at various investment firms: Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan Chase, UBS, Deutsche Bank and MeesPierson Securities. Lily received both her B.S. in Statistics (1984) and M.B.A. (1987) in Finance/International Business from The University of Chicago. Lily has served on numerous nonprofit organizations including but not limited to: the family’s Li Educational Foundation since 2000, The Good Dog Foundation Gala from 2015 -2019, and The Good Dog Foundation and NY Presbyterian Paws for Patients Program from 2011-2020.

    Lily currently resides in NYC and is a caretaker for her 85-year-old mom, Dorothy In Lan Wang Li, and her 14.5-year-old Shihtzu, Mingming Li, who is a warrior princess, hero and a spirit guided animal. By Mingming’s first year, she was registered as a service and therapy dog. Lily and Mingming volunteered with The Good Dog Foundation for over 10 years, visiting schools, nursing homes and NY Presbyterian surgery recovery patients weekly on the 8th and 14th floor. Mingming has traveled to over 20 states in the US as well as Bermuda, Bahamas and Colombia. 

    Mingming recently battled adenocarcinoma intestine cancer and IMHA in October 2021 and is now in remission. In February of 2024, she donated 10% of her blood or 2 ounces to save another dog. Because of her generosity and bravery, Mingming was selected as one of the Schwarzman AMC Living Legends 2024. Together, Mingming and Lily shed light wherever there is darkness. They offer light, peace, love, wisdom, and harmony to all.

    Director of Clinical Education (Technicians/Assistants) at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center

    Jesse Cornell is a graduate of Medaille College in 1997 where she obtained her degree in Veterinary Technology. She has primarily focused her career on small animal anesthesia for the past 27 years in emergency/referral/teaching hospitals in Boston and New York. Jesse received her veterinary technician specialty in Anesthesia and Analgesia, and her Master’s in Education in 2011. Her favorite part of her job is mentoring and coaching colleagues. She is currently a NYS licensed veterinary technician and Director of Clinical Education at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in NYC.

    Outside of work she enjoys exploring a diversity of art, museums, music, literature, running, hiking, and camping with her husband, 2 adventurous sons, yellow lab William, and 21 year old senior sweetheart cat Max.

    With a penchant for doing things backwards (most notably dessert before dinner), Haven received a BS in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while pursuing her interest in animal behavior and comparative cognition, and then attained an associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Central Carolina Community College. Initially beginning her career as a veterinary technician in general practice with a part time job in a small emergency practice, she moved to New York to participate in the AMC’s veterinary technician intern program in 2003 and never left the city. She became a veterinary technician specialist in emergency and critical care in 2013 and in anesthesia and analgesia in 2015, and is an active member of both academies. In 2024 she obtained a Master of Veterinary Education from LMU. She has 2 dogs (a private and a lieutenant) and a plant addiction, likes to read, knit, and sew and secretly likes dad jokes.

    Samantha Baine was born and raised in Westchester, NY. She is a graduate of Mercy College, an AVMA accredited school, where she majored in Biology with a specialty in Veterinary Technology. Upon licensure, she followed her passion for emergency veterinary medicine and obtained her VTS (ECC) certification. Samantha is currently the manager of the Emergency and Critical Care Department at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York City. She is RECOVER ALS/BLS rescuer certified and is on the VTS (ECC) credential committee. Her goals are to provide engaging articles and lectures on topics related to emergency and critical care and to advance education with the goal of improving patient care. Samantha currently lives in New York City with her two dogs: a French Bulldog Freya and a Norwich Terrier Coby.

    Camia is a licensed veterinary technician and clinical educator with over 17 years of experience. She has worked at AMC since 2011 and is the Director of Dentistry, Exotics, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, and Ophthalmology. In this capacity, she is responsible for these departments' clinical and operational management and supervises, mentors, and trains clinical nursing staff. She partners with hospital leadership to ensure excellence in care and has input in the strategic decision making related to clinical nursing. She previously worked at Animal Specialty Center and Lenox Hill Veterinarians as an LVT. She obtained her VTS in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2018. She is an Executive Board Member and Committee Chair of the Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians and a District Representative for the New York State Association of Veterinary Technicians. She holds a degree in Veterinary Technology from LaGuardia Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hunter College, and a Master of Science in Instructional Design from SUNY Brockport. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, traveling, reading, and spending time with her beloved dog, Mr. Pupcake.

    Camia Tonge was recently recognized by DVM360 as this year’s Veterinary Hero for Credentialed Veterinary Technology. The program recognizes those who have positively impacted animal care, demonstrating leadership, expertise and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of animals. These recognized individuals have excelled in their professional roles and influenced the broader veterinary community, setting new standards and inspiring others to continue evolving the practice of veterinary care.

    Licensed Veterinary Technician in Dentistry at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center

    Joanne Chan is a Licensed Veterinary Technician of five years and a first-year AVDT (Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians) VTS mentee. In 2019, Joanne obtained her veterinary technology degree at LaGuardia Community College with multiple honors for outstanding academic performance. She has had a multifaceted career in general practice, urgent care, and diverse specialty departments before she resolved to answer her passion for dentistry and anesthesia by pursuing a VTS in Dentistry. Joanne enjoys learning and sharing morsels of fun facts with others. Her philosophy is to treat her patients as she would want her own pets to be treated and to strengthen other pet parents through client education.

    Prior to entering veterinary medicine, Joanne obtained a bachelor's degree in Cinema Studies with a minor in Drawing. She interned at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, worked at the Museum of the Moving Image, was a freelance graphic designer, and taught art to children in various programs. She enjoys living life with her husband, traveling, playing volleyball, singing karaoke, volunteering, hanging out with her amazing colleagues, and spending time with her beagle and black cat, Bagel and Toast.
