Eric has over 23 years of experience rendering tax, legal, and other professional services. Before he took over the CEO role, he was the firm’s Tax & Corporate Services Leader, overseeing tax advisory, due diligence, structuring, and litigation support engagements for local and multinational clients across various industries.

He has been recognized by the International Tax Review (ITR) as one of the world’s leading tax controversy advisers and indirect tax leaders for 2021. He was also recognized by the ITR as one of the world’s leading tax controversy advisers in 2017, and a leading indirect tax professional in 2018. In addition to his role as CEO, he is also President of the Firm’s CSR arm, Deloitte Philippines Outreach, Inc.

Eric is a CPA and a lawyer.

Sreeni leads ASSIST, an innovative and capacity-building international non-government organization (NGO) that promotes sustainable practices to partner development organizations.

A Chemical Engineer by profession with an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management tucked under his belt, he has led ASSIST in managing projects in over 20 countries across Asia and maintaining offices in five countries – the Philippines, its headquarters; India; Vietnam; Cambodia; and Kenya.

Alongside these development partnerships, he has led organization’s Social Actions projects, which are all internally conceptualized and independently managed by ASSIST with the aim of challenging conventional thinking, sparking positive change, and building enduring cooperation for progress in areas such as Skills and Jobs, Entrepreneurship, Youth Empowerment, Disaster Resilience, etc. All of which share the universal mission of building the resilience and uplifting the lives of Filipinos.

He is also behind ASSIST’s other social ventures, which include iMPACT Magazine (formerly ‘AsianNGO Magazine’), a first-of-its-kind mixed media magazine that aims to provide NGOs opportunities to find funds, partners and relevant learning resources for better organizational and program management.

Uday is an accomplished leader within the Global Delivery Network and has been appointed to the role of Managing Director of the PDC for a period of 2 years.

His career highlights include:

• Over 27 years of experience in consulting and IT, including 21 years in SAP

• Been part of the rapid growth at Deloitte’s delivery centre in India over 14 years and held multiple leadership roles

• Four and half years of international experience managing projects and delivering solutions to clients in the SAP space

• Managed onsite and offshore teams

• Strong software process knowledge - was a key member in CMMI implementation
