Dawn Myers has been the Chief Operating Officer for the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, Virginia since 2003. The VTCRC consists of over 185 high technology companies and research centers that employ over 3,000 people in 35 buildings
totaling over 1 million square feet of space. In 2010 the VTCRC was named, “Most Outstanding Research/Science Park” in the United States and winner of the 2016 'Best University Research
Parks in the South‘ by Southern Business & Development magazine.

Dawn provides leadership and management for all operations of the research park to include capital projects, facilities management, construction management, data services infrastructure, park services and amenities, and administrative services.

Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Radford University, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Virginia licensed realtor.

She previously was employed with the Virginia Tech Foundation as its business manager and with Virginia Tech as a lease administrator.

Dawn currently serves on the boards of the United Way of the New River Valley and IGNITE Life Pacific College, and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Association of University Research Parks (AURP), and Association of University Real Estate Officials (AUREO).

She previously served on the following boards for the Mental Health Association of the New River Valley and High School – High Tech New River Valley and as a committee member for the American Heart Association’s Leadership Team of the New River Valley.
