Researching the law is only one aspect of working on a case – there are many other research tasks associated with an upcoming case that attorneys need to perform. This can be as simple as researching your own clients in the news, to vetting an expert witness whose testimony may win or lose your case. This course will take you through some of the research tasks looking at the "whole picture" from early case assessment to trial and some best practices to avoid "fake news" or distracting material.
