    Professor Abiola Sanni (SAN) has been an esteemed lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University since 1991. His academic journey includes a Fulbright Scholarship at the International Tax Programme, Beasley School of Law, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA, and a Research Fellowship at the Institute of International Law and Policy in 2003. Concurrently, he rose to the position of Professor of Commercial Law and assumed the prestigious Lagos State Government Professorial Chair at the University of Lagos in 2016.



    In addition to his significant academic contributions, Professor Sanni is a leading authority in Nigerian legal scholarship. He serves as the Editor of Introduction to Nigerian Legal Methods, Author of Introduction to Nigerian Business Law, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Revenue Law Reports (NRLR) and African Tax Law Reports (ATLR).



    His professional affiliations underscore his eminence in the legal domain. Professor Sanni is a distinguished member of the International Bar Association (IBA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICARB). His expertise is further validated by his status as a Life Member of the Nigerian Society of International Law (NSIL) and his role as the Legal Adviser to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (University of Lagos). He also contributes to shaping tax policies as a Member of the Tax Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).



    Professor Sanni's leadership extends beyond academia. He previously chaired both the National Tax Policy Review Committee (NTPRC) and the National Tax Policy Implementation Committee (NTPIC). In August 2023, he assumed the pivotal role of Head of the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law.



    Notably, Professor Sanni is highly regarded for his exceptional prowess in arbitration. His expertise in this field is acknowledged widely, and he proudly serves on the faculty of the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb).

Alongside her role as General Secretary, she holds membership in the Governing Council and serves as a valuable member of the NICArb Faculty, where she imparts extensive and exceptional training to professionals in various facets of arbitration.



    As the Managing Partner of Luminex Legal Consult, Clara boasts over 20 years of practice experience, specializing in corporate law, banking law, maritime and admiralty law, oil and gas law, as well as family and probate law. With a profound understanding of legal and regulatory compliance, she assumes the role of legal secretary for several companies.



    Clara's expertise extends to dispute resolution techniques, having successfully managed major commercial arbitration cases both domestically and internationally. Notably, she has contributed significantly to the development of arbitration through her authorship and co-authorship of pivotal moot arbitration cases and procedural guidelines for the Institute.
