Global Trends in Pay-for-Performance

The Women Get On Board Virtual Speaker Series focuses on emerging issues and trends that board members need to consider in their board roles. An effective board is critical for companies to navigate these turbulent times. We face internal and external challenges and new opportunities, from diversity and inclusion, hybrid workplaces, ESG, globalization, geopolitical issues, cybersecurity and data privacy, shareholder engagement, uncertain economic conditions and talent alignment. Our expert guest speakers will discuss strategies and provide insights on how boards can be more effective.

Event Description:

As board members review 2023 performance and pay decisions and think ahead to 2024 incentive plan designs and performance targets, this session will provide an overview of the various pay-for-performance considerations from stakeholders. Leveraging Southlea's role in the Global Executive Compensation and Governance Group (GECN), we will share insights on how these considerations may differ around the world and their implications on compensation plan design. This examination of different global approaches will provide a broader perspective to guide your specific deliberations on these critical issues.
