Event Details

Presented by Dr. Andrew Wilson PhD

For all of the potential of fungi, we still know very little about these organisms. Mushrooms are the easiest fungi to know, because we can collect and study them. When we collect mushrooms, we create opportunities to learn about their diversity, contributions to ecosystems, and their evolution. So, if we're going to put effort into making a collection, we should do it right. This talk will describe the value of natural history collections, as well as explain the process and progress of NAMA's Voucher Collections Project.
