Join us for a unique walk back in time with the Heritage Society (formerly the Historical Society of Frederick County) preserves the material culture and stories of leaders from the long and significant history of our community. The women leaders featured in this presentation made lasting contributions to our community through their talent, determination, and generosity, forging institutions that continue to shape present and future generations.
This presentation will share the stories of several significant women various backgrounds and positions, spanning more than two centuries of Frederick County's development. In addition to the presentation, a special display of artifacts associated with the stories featured in the program will be available and visitors will be able to enjoy a docent-guided tour of the Museum of Frederick County History. Continue the conversations during the Happy Hour segment in a designated area of the Museum. Happy Hour will include complimentary wine and non-alcoholic drink options along with lite appetizers. $10 of each ticket price will be donated to the Heritage Society for their time and mission.
