The SkillsFuture Work-Study Certificate and Post-Diploma Programmes are specially designed to give Polytechnic and ITE fresh graduates, a head-start in careers related to their discipline of studies.


Participating employers can recruit fresh local talent, within three years of graduation or the Operationally Ready Date for National Servicemen and prepare them to take up suitable job roles. Participants in the programme can look forward to a structured career progression pathway within the organisation.


Join us at this Webinar co-organised by Singapore Retailers Association and Temasek Polytechnic on 27 January 2021 (Wednesday), from 10.00am to 11.00am where we will cover 2 Work-Study Programmes, namely, the Specialist Diploma in MICE & Events Management​ and the Specialist Diploma in Business Development in Technology​.

    Mr Vincent Ng

    Deputy Manager, TSA at Temesek Polytechnic

    Vincent is currently a key team member of the Work-Study Programme (WSP) with the Temasek
    SkillsFuture Academy (TSA), Temasek Polytechnic. He has also been conducting classes for adult-
    learners.

    Prior to joining TSA, Vincent was the Course Manager for Diploma in Business, School of Business at Temasek Polytechnic. He was an academic staff for almost 20 years. His industry experiences encompass sales and marketing fields where he was involved in management of regional distributors, dealing with overseas suppliers and manufacturers, and sales management.

  • Mr Trevor De Silva (Senior Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic)

    Mr Trevor De Silva

    Senior Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic

    Trevor’s main expertise is in Club & Resort Management, especially in the field of Sales &Marketing.
    He has worked and was involved in many aspects of the hospitality industry. He started his career at the five-star Shangri-la Hotel, where he held multiple roles in Food and Beverage, as well as the Sales and Marketing Division.

    Trevor is presently in charge of the Student Internship Programme for the students from the diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management and is the diploma representative for the Specialist Diploma in MICE and Events Management (SDMEM).

    Senior Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic

    Prior to joining Temasek Polytechnic, Jackson was Business Solutions Consulting Lead for a technology start-up that he co-founded where he provided software consultancy services in the finance, trade and manufacturing domains. Today, Jackson teaches about Digital Business Transformation covering areas such as Robotic Procession Automation, Chatbots, Analytics & Blockchains. He concurrently serves as consultant to SMEs seeking to digitalize their businesses under the umbrella of the Digital Business Transformation Centre at Temasek Polytechnic.
