Event Details

Participants will learn techniques and approaches to managing resistance in the therapeutic relationship. In this training, participants will be introduced ideas on how to work with clients who are resistant to change. This will include looking at why clients may be difficult and how the behavior and demeanor of the professional impacts the success of the interaction. We will also work to understand how trauma, family dynamics, and bias can all work against collaboration with the professional.
