Photovoltaic Professionals are required to maintain photovoltaic installations after they have been installed. This course attempts to equip learners on conducting maintenance procedures.


As part of the maintenance, learners will be instructed on how to run diagnostics, conduct inspections, fault identification techniques and common areas where faults may occur.


Performing maintenance requires learners to rectify identified faults. Learners will be instructed on repair methods, corrective maintenance principles and to perform repair on equipment/site according to maintenance procedures.


Participants will also be required to complete a self-directed e-learning.


Course Objectives


By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Interpret requirements related to maintenance procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic test and inspections on solar PV systems.
  • Carry out maintenance work for the solar PV systems


Certificate

Participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment by SSG after fulfilling all attendance, assignment and assessment requirements
