The .ZA Awards is a ceremony to recognise and reward various stakeholders who are contributing to the growth and resilience of the .za namespace. This ceremony will connect .za second-level domain registry operators and administrators, .za registrars and resellers, DNS experts, and government and public sector representatives.
The event aims to promote the growth of the .za domain namespace in South Africa, maintain its reliability and security, and foster discussions with industry leaders. It will also address key challenges in the DNS industry, discuss commercial, technological, and regulatory frameworks, and provide insights into stakeholder engagement and new methods for expanding the .za internet presence.
This event is intended for ccTLD Registries, Second-level Domain Administrators, Registrars (both local and international with ICANN accredited), Resellers, Registrants, DNS specialists, Government Representatives, ICT service providers, Financial Institutions, and Academia interested in the domain name industry and related businesses. Domain name investors from Africa and other regions of the world are also welcome to participate.
The event will feature professionals and industry stakeholders discussing recent trends in domain name marketplaces, allowing attendees to meet with stakeholders from various industries to discuss opportunities for competitive growth in the South African domain name market.
