Only members from EU countries whose GDP per capita is below 75% of the EU average can apply for the reduced membership fee. In addition, the granting of a reduced membership rate is always subject to approval of the Board. Members in the following countries can apply for the reduced fees: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

WE AoA membership is not limited in time and automatically renewed on a full calendar year basis. Membership cancellations for the next year need to be submitted to the Executive Director before the 1st of October of the running year .

The main duties and rights of Corporate members are:

• Have access to all WE programs and membership benefits
• Have a voting right during the General Meeting
• Endorse WE Water Vision
• Accept Articles of Association​​ and Bylaws​
