First Responder members receive the full benefits of an individual member at a discounted rate. Proof of eligibility is required to establish and renew this membership rate and can be supplied in the application.  

All Individual members get full access to all of the benefits of membership:

• Professional Development: Monthly professional development seminars are free for PYP members (normally $15-20/session)
• Networking Opportunities: Happy Hour and Coffee & Conversation events are hosted each month. Register for happy hour in advance and your first drink is on us! 
• Community Service: Exclusive members-only service events offering our members an opportunity to connect to the Pensacola community on a deeper level. 
• VIP Experiences: Sports and cultural outings with special experiences just for your PYP members.
• Insider Roundtables: Roundtables with community leaders offering our members exclusive access to learn about the latest developments in our community.
• Local Voice: Activism and civic education opportunities focused on local economic development and governmental affairs
• Community + Directory: Access to the exclusive Members-Only community to connect with other PYP members as well as access to the Membership Directory. 
• Mentor Pensacola: PYP's flagship mentor program is open only to PYP members that connects our members with community leaders for the 9-month program (Jan-Sep, Applications Open in October).

Eligibility Requirement: First Responder memberships are available to individuals who meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Currently employed as a law enforcement officer, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or firefighter.

To receive this membership rate, apply and submit your proof of employment (ie: badge, letter from a supervisor, etc.). Once approved, individuals are able to pay for their membership and activate all of the benefits of membership.
