Custodian members incl. FST contribution, are companies who uphold the highest professional standards of competence and integrity in advancing food science and related technologies for the provision of safe and wholesome food. The higher membership fee contributes to the SAAFoST Foundation for bursaries for students. Custodians are involved in strategy sessions, special networking events, reduced attendance fees for at least 10 employees who are not members themselves, are listed on the SAAFoST website with direct links to their websites and voluntarily contribute to the FST magazine amongst others.
