This membership is open to any doctor in private practice who agrees with the Society's aims and objectives.

Membership Benefits

• Representation: Members receive representation to statutory bodies such as the Health Professions Councils of Namibia (HPCNA) and Ministerial Committees.
• Professional Development: Members have access to Continuous Medical Education (CME) platform materials and can earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
• Opportunities: Members benefit from mentorship, networking, and welfare opportunities, enhancing career development and leadership through NMS activities.
• Recognition: Membership in NMS confers recognition and credibility as a member of a national professional body.
• Access: Members can participate in events and activities of international organizations where NMS is a member, such as the Coalition of African National Medical Associations (CANMA).
• Voting Rights: All members in good standing have full voting rights at all Society meetings.

Termination of Membership

1. Membership is automatically terminated in the event of death.
2. Members may resign by providing 14 days' written notice to the Executive Board.
3. The Executive Board may terminate membership if a member breaches the Society's Constitution or aims and objectives. However, the member has the right to attend a disciplinary hearing to appeal the decision.
