Join Cape Town Open Water Swim Co. as a member for regular swims throughout the year!

Level: Intermediate (1.6-3km)

Requirement: Must be able to swim 1.6km and have cold water experience.


Membership Benefits

  • Unlimited access to guided group ocean swims (up to 27 swims per month).
  • Swims take place at Clifton, Simon's Town and Blouberg (see swim schedule below).

Summer Schedule: August-May (altered times 16 Dec - 6 Jan)

  • Mondays – 17h00 at Clifton 4th Beach
  • Tuesdays – 07h00* at Kleinbaai Blouberg
  • Wednesdays – 17h00 at Clifton 4th Beach
  • Thursdays – 07h00* at Long Beach Simon's Town
  • Fridays – 15h00 at Kleinbaai Blouberg
  • Saturdays – 08h00 in False Bay (various locations)


Winter Schedule (June-July)

  • Wednesdays 16h45 at Clifton 4th 
  • Fridays 15h00 at Kleinbaai Blouberg 
  • Saturdays 08h30 False Bay / Atlantic


*Weekday morning swims at 07h30 in Spring & Autumn

Membership Refund Policy

When signing up as a member, you commit to joining for at least 3 months.
Payment is due in advance.
Your membership will be renewed automatically until notice is given.
One month’s notice is required to cancel your membership (excluding the initial 3 month period).
Overdue payments of more than 14 days will result in automatic cancellation of membership and associated benefits.
No refunds are granted for missed sessions or nonattendance.
