Individual Member

Become an Individual Member and take the membership with you even if you switch roles or companies.

$300 per annum

Corporate Member

Become a Corporate Member, which is tied to a company. You can nominate up to two colleagues in addition to yourself to enjoy the benefits of Corporate Membership.

$1,500 per annum

Benefits:

• All the benefits included in Individual Membership, plus the following:
• Revise your nominations when needed due to staff changes or reorganisation, up to two times a membership year.
• While only the three nominated colleagues can participate in the main AsiaDPO member meetings, Corporate Members have the flexibility of inviting other colleagues (subject to the same cap of three) to participate in any other meetings or activities. This enables your company to maximise its benefits from AsiaDPO events and services.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for membership, individuals must:

1. be the DPO of your organisation or hold a substantially equivalent portfolio relating to data governance, privacy and/or data protection
2. be from an organisation with a presence in Singapore and/or Asia Pacific
3. generally be able to attend AsiaDPO meetings in-person
4. not be employed by any foreign government entity or its affiliate
5. not sell, market, or upsell any products or services within AsiaDPO or to any members or persons known via AsiaDPO events
6. adhere to the Chatham House Rule during meetings, where information can be used but the identity and affiliation of speakers or participants cannot be disclosed.

If a member breaches these criteria, the AsiaDPO Management Committee may take action, up to and including cancellation of membership. Applications by individuals who do not meet the criteria will be reviewed on a case by case basis, and membership acceptance is at the sole discretion of the AsiaDPO Management Committee.

Membership Fees

The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June. Membership fees for those joining after 31 July will be pro-rated.
