Universities South Africa in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training, through the University Capacity Development Programme will be hosting its 6th Entrepreneurship Development in Higher Education Programme (EDHE), Studentpreneurs Indaba. The EDHE Studentpreneurs Indaba is aimed at supporting student entrepreneurs and existing start-ups or small businesses through sharing knowledge, best practices, opportunities, practical learnings, and networking opportunities.
The EDHE programme aims to create a culture of entrepreneurship in higher education institutions in South Africa by developing student entrepreneurship, integrating entrepreneurship into teaching, learning, and research, and developing entrepreneurial universities. Through these objectives, the programme aims to contribute to the growth and development of the South African economy by promoting entrepreneurship as a key driver of economic development.
