Established in 2010, EMAHK’s vision is to be Hong Kong’s leading and recognised contributor to environmental management and sustainable development discourse, as well as the advancement of environmental management as a professional field.
EMAHK’s mission is to improve the quality of Hong Kong’s and its hinterland’s environment by exposing its Members to cutting-edge practical knowledge in environmental management while improving community awareness of environmental protection.
At EMAHK, we aspire to share this professional knowledge in the context of Hong Kong’s, China’s and Asia’s rapidly growing cities and regions facing land degradation, water and forest depletion, and climate change, among others. Our Members represent a cross-section of environmental-related disciplines and practices, bridging the gap between scientific knowledge, context-specific practice, and societal actions.
