Welcome to the Eastern North Carolina Regional Association of Black Social Workers (ENCR-ABSW), where passionate advocates unite to promote the welfare of Black individuals, families, and communities. As part of the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW), we uphold the values of the Black extended family, fostering a strong sense of belonging and solidarity. Together, we work toward meaningful change, supporting initiatives that uplift and strengthen our communities.
Becoming a member means more than just joining an organization—it’s about committing to a shared vision of progress, ethical practice, and accountability. Our members play an active role in advancing social impact by participating in initiatives, events, and resources designed to foster community engagement and collaboration. Membership also provides opportunities to attend monthly General Body Meetings, held every third Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. EST, where we discuss initiatives, plan projects, and build lasting partnerships.
By joining us, you not only contribute financially but also bring your unique voice and talents to a dynamic network working to support Black social institutions and create a lasting legacy. Ready to get involved? Complete your application online or submit a hard copy to P.O. Box 7112, Greenville, NC 27835. We look forward to welcoming you and working together to move forward with purpose, unity, and a shared commitment to progress.
