Family Business eXponential (FBX) is a member-led community created to meet the evolving needs of family enterprises. Unlike many organizations that focus only on senior leaders, FBX embraces the participation of all family members, across all generations. This inclusive approach fosters mutual understanding, learning, and alignment across the family enterprise system.

Our guiding principles—member-centricity, peer engagement, non-solicitation, and servant leadership—shape a culture of trust and collaboration. Through curated programs such as Wisdom Circles, learning events, mentorship, and executive education, members are supported in both personal and professional growth. Family Membership is intended for multi-generational, family-owned businesses where the principal family member is engaged in the ownership and/or management of the organization. Membership is registered under the name of the family business company, with principal, alternate, next generation, and additional members nominated accordingly.
All members of the business family are welcome to participate in Chapter programs. This includes spouses, next generation family members, and C-suite non-family executives who are part of the family business. The Chapter offers opportunities for meaningful engagement and learning tailored to family enterprise needs.
Chapter membership renews annually on July 1. Prorated dues apply from the month following your application, based on the rates in effect. FBX International fees are additional and are invoiced separately.
