The Federation includes community service organizations from rural, urban, and suburban communities throughout BC both on and off reserve. By becoming a member you stand with us as we work together to improve the well-being of all our community members.
The Federation has three types of membership: Full Membership, Associate Membership, and Honorary Membership.
Full Federation Membership is open to community-based organizations that provide direct services to children, youth, families and/or adults and who:

Membership Application Process:
Step 1: Complete the online application form.
Step 2: Federation Staff will review your application and conduct a reference check. If any additional information is required, we will be in touch with you at this time.
Step 3: The Federation Membership Committee will review your application and present it to the Board. If the Board conditionally approves your application, you will be sent an invoice for your membership fee.
Step 4: Federation members will review and vote on your application at the next Annual or General Meeting. Check here for a calendar of upcoming meetings. If, for any reason, your application is declined, you will be refunded your membership fee.
Associate Membership (non-voting):
The Federation enjoys a strong relationship with BC's post-secondary institutions, research bodies and other partners that work with our members for the benefit of the community. Organizations that are not eligible for membership, but who wish to support and join in the work of the Federation, may become Associate Members.

Associate Members provide another perspective on the issues facing community social services. We welcome them to the table to increase our collective knowledge, work collaboratively, build relationships, and strengthen our movement.
