The community of practice provides a repository and forum where diverse participants can learn from each other to create and share best practices for addressing health inequities and disparities across Georgia and include community members and advocates, health care and public health providers and navigators, philanthropists, staff from government agencies, and researchers.
The community of practice aims to educate, support, cultivate, encourage, integrate, and connect members to advance health equity in Georgia. This will be done by:
- Providing a forum where members can learn from one another.
- Creating a strong statewide network that engages all disciplines.
- Aggregating health disparities and inequities data.
- Disseminating a collection of best practices for replication and adaption.
