Welcome to the Greater Boston Association of Black Social Workers (GBABSW)!
We are a community of social workers, educators, and advocates dedicated to empowering people of African ancestry. Our mission is to uplift our communities through advocacy, service, and research, working for a world free from racial, economic, and cultural oppression.
Founded in 1968, GBABSW is one of the original chapters of the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW), born out of a movement for justice and equity.
